What a busy and positive week we have had in Year 4!

This week, we have been learning about our rules and expectations and have spent lots of time developing our teamwork, resilience and growth mindset.

We watched a highlight of Team GB at the Olympics and used the words and ideas that stood out to us to create a mind map. We then used these ideas to make our own Team GB-inspired flags, thinking carefully about the qualities that help us to succeed both individually and as a team. 🇬🇧🏅

Next week, we will continue our work on resilience and begin to explore other important topics, including internet safety.

📚 Homework
Children have been given their homework packs, which include:

• One page of spelling
• One page of handwriting
• Mathletics: an expectation of 1,000 points
• Reading: at least 3 times a week
