This week in topic we have been revising our understanding of chronology by ordering key eras in history ranging from the dinosaurs to World War 1 in preparation for learning about World War 2. We have discussed what we already know about World War 2 as well as any questions we may have. In science, we have begun our learning about electricity, creating title pages and beginning to learn how to draw and read the scientific symbols for parts of a circuit. 

Next week we will be: 

• Taking part in an INSIGHT workshop titled ‘what would Jesus do?’ 

• Starting to plan an investigation in science 

• Beginning to learn about the evacuation of Dunkirk in topic 

• Starting our unit on dances pre-war and during the war in PE.
