What an amazing week it has been in Reception! We are so incredibly proud of all the children and everything they have achieved during their first full week at school.

The children have done a fantastic job settling into their new routines and, most importantly, staying at school for the whole day. This is a huge milestone, and they have approached each day with such enthusiasm, courage and growing confidence. It has been wonderful to see them become more comfortable in their new surroundings and enjoy everything school has to offer.

We are also very proud of how well the children have managed lunchtime. Sitting together, opening lunch boxes, trying new foods and remembering all the lunchtime routines are big steps for our little learners. They have done brilliantly!

Another lovely highlight has been watching new friendships blossom. The children are beginning to play together, share, take turns and find friends who enjoy the same activities. Our classroom is already full of laughter, conversation and lots of happy learning.

We know that starting school is a big change for both children and families, so thank you for all your support at home. Your encouragement, kind words and positive conversations about school make such a difference.
