It has been a great second week. The children have spent more time in Blossom getting to know their routines, refreshing their knowledge of our school and class rules, lesson formats and expectations.

We have also spent time revisiting our zones and talking about emotional regulation. We have been sorting the behaviours we might see in each of the different zones. We talked about some ways to regulate our emotions and help us to return to the optimum green learning zone.

In addition, the children have worked really hard completing phonics and reading assessments and we have completed a quick initial practical assessment of some of our basic maths skills.
