The children in Reception have been listening to the story Dear Zoo this week. All the children love playing with the animals, so it has become a favourite story to read. When we read the book, the children have the chance to look at the related toy version of each animal. Afterwards, they sorted the animals into the correct box that they arrived in. They got it right first time. Later, the children enjoyed re-telling the story with the props by themselves.
