Our Autumn Adventures

We have had a wonderful time exploring the beauty of autumn! The children thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the park, where we discovered lots of exciting things about the changing season.

During our visit, we sang autumn songs, explored the different colours, shapes and textures of fallen leaves, and created beautiful tree rubbings. The children also became little explorers as they used magnifying glasses to search for insects and details on the leaves. It was lovely to see their curiosity, excitement and enthusiasm as they discovered more about the world around them.

We also enjoyed tasting the delicious homemade soup that we prepared together using carrots, butternut squash, potato and pumpkin. The children had a wonderful opportunity to explore these seasonal vegetables and learn about the ingredients that went into making our warm, comforting soup.

A big thank you to all our parents and carers for your continued support and generous donations and to all the parents that joined us on the trip. Your contributions are greatly appreciated and help us to provide the children with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.

During our sessions, we have also been enjoying the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? The children loved joining in with the repeated lines, anticipating what might come next and naming their favourite animals. We have continued to explore colours through the story, encouraging the children to recognise, name and talk about the different colours they see.

We look forward to sharing more exciting adventures and learning experiences with the children in the coming weeks!
