This week we have been reading a new book in Reception "Coming to England" by Floella Benjamin. We find this book a wonderful way to introduce Black History Month to our children. We have been learning a little about Trinidad and the differences between where we live and where Floella was born. The children have been busy learning the story and thinking about actions while we learn a summarised version. I wonder if they can tell you some of the key events at home?

In maths we have been subitising and will look at amounts using 4 next week.
