This week, Year 4 have been exploring conjunctions and how they link a main clause and a subordinate clause to create more complex sentences. They are now preparing for their next piece of independent writing, where they will have the opportunity to apply their learning.

In maths, the children have been learning about Roman numerals, developing their understanding of how they work. In history, they have been learning all about Hadrian’s Wall and its importance during Roman Britain.

Next week, Year 4 will be focusing on comparing numbers in maths, building their confidence in recognising and comparing the value of numbers. In Topic, they will be exploring Roman Gods.
