Our Pre-School offers places for all 2 year olds.

Parents can apply for a Pre School place from the term after their child turns 2 - if the application is successful, they can stay in Pre School until they qualify for a space in Nursery.

Available Places - term time only (38 weeks per year)

• All children are entitled to a free 15-hour Pre School place

  • 8 morning places (8:30am -11:30am)

  • 8 afternoon places (12:30am -3:30pm)

• Eligible families may be able to access 30 hours of funded childcare (8:30am - 3:30pm with Friday afternoons not included in this provision, should parents wish to extend their child’s attendance to include Friday afternoons, an additional charge of £7.01 will apply.) 

• Paid childcare places are available at a rate of £7.01 per hour

• We may be able to offer additional places if there is enough demand from eligible families.

Snacks, including fruit and milk, are provided for all children through the school government scheme. Children enrolled in the full 30-hour provision are also eligible for hot lunches, offered at £2.78 per meal, rising to £2.96 from April. Should parents choose to opt out of hot lunches, they are required to provide a healthy packed lunch.

Parents are responsible for providing non-food consumables, including nappies, wipes, and sunscreen.

When Is My Child Eligible?

• September intake: Your child must be 2 years old on or before 31 August

• January intake: Your child must be 2 years old on or before 31 December
