Year 3

Wagamama trip!

This week, Year 3 took a trip down to Kingston Wagamama linked to their learning on healthy eating in science. The children had the opportunity to make fresh juices using a range of fruit and vegetables. After, they had a go at using chopsticks and trying unique Japanese inspired ingredients such as udon noodles, kimchi and bamboo. Then, the children used weighing scales to measure 20 grams of mange tout, sweetcorn and red pepper, which the chefs turned into an amazing dish in the kitchen, mixing it with noodles, chicken or tofu. It tasted delicious! Thank you to all the staff at Wagamama Kingston for their lovely hospitality and catering for all our children with dietary requirements!
