We have spent the last two weeks in Reception learning the story 'The Gigantic Turnip' by Aleksey Nikolayevich Tolstoy and Levin Kipnis. The children used a story map to help them retell the story and we have also written sentences about the story as a class. Some of the children also enjoyed art activities making their own gigantic turnips.
