Reception

Independent necklace making

This week the children enjoyed independently making African necklaces as part of celebrating Black History Month. We also read and spoke about Coming to England by Floella Benjamin for Black History Month. The children then discussed how they are same and how they are different from each other. We spoke about how we are kind to each other whether we are the same or different.

We are continuing to discuss seasons and Autumn. The children have been enjoying drawing Autumn leaves, conkers, pine cones and pumpkins. Please remember to share any Autumn finds with us on Tapestry!
