As many of you are aware, we had to shorten the length of our Year 6 residential due to secondary school transfer day. The residential trip is now taking place on Monday 30th June and Tuesday 1st July. The secondary transfer day is Wednesday 2nd July. To make up for the disappointing shortening of the residential session, an exciting activity has been organised for all Year 6 students on Thursday 3rd July. Lazer Lions will be attending and running an activity for each class. As Thursday is a PE day, children will just need to wear their normal PE kits to school (the activities will involve lots of movement). On Monday 19th May (6pm in the New Hall) there will be a parent/carer meeting to discuss the residential trip. If your child is attending this trip, it is vital that you attend on Monday 19th May. A medical form and behaviour form will be discussed and handed out at this meeting and they will need to be returned to enable your child to attend the trip. Lots of dates for your diaries this week!
