This week in science we have started our new learning all about living things and their habitats. We have begun to look at classification of living things into the following categories: protists, monerans, fungi, plants and animals and explore distinguishing features of each category. Using our observational skills, we have then applied our understanding of classification keys to classify plants. 

Next week we will be: 

• Continuing to develop our handstand and cartwheel skills in gymnastics, 

• Applying our maths skills in geography to plot a line graph, 

• Identifying differences between groups in the plant kingdom in science, 

• Writing a short narrative in English.
