In English this week we have been writing thought bubbles from the perspective of the main characters. We have considered how each character might be feeling in the same scenario, the reaping. From this, we have taken on the role of Panem rebel to write a short newsflash all about the fated Reaping day. We have used the key features of a newsflash, including the 5W’s and a range of tenses, to create interest for the reader. We then read out our reports as if we were radio broadcasters addressing our audience.
