Year 6

Time to say goodbye.....
What a fantastic last week Year 6 have had, from performing their play, ‘Hercules and Phoebe’ to their end of year party courtesy of the PSA, to signing shirts. Below is the Year 6 leavers’ poem. We wish all our year 6’s success in secondary school and beyond, and we will all miss them dearly.
To Our Wonderful Year 6
When we first met you, who'd have guessed
You'd grow into a year group that's simply the best?
You've made us laugh, you've made us proud,
(You've also been... incredibly loud!)
Every one of you has played a part,
So here's how you'll stay in our heart…
Brooke, thoughtful and caring each day,
Your kindness shines in every way.
Austin, so sensible, thoughtful and wise,
You always see things through careful eyes.
Wayne, our human computer—what a brain!
And your sneezes sound just like a train!
Noah, your smile can brighten the day,
You race to the ball before shouting, "Play!"
Yahya, patient, fun and always fair,
You made everyone feel welcome there.
Ronika, independent, sensible too,
I can always depend on you.
Elpida, wrapped up even in June,
You'd still say, "I'm freezing!" every afternoon!
Robbie, you've been a valued part of our class,
Making each day so much fun, always a laugh.
Sasha, thoughtful, quiet and wise,
You notice the world with caring eyes.
Antonio, so helpful every day,
You lend a hand without delay.
Annabel, disciplined with wit so dry,
Your sarcastic comments make laughter fly.
Joy, your positivity lights every room,
Your kindness helps everybody bloom.
Joyna, hardworking, thoughtful and kind,
A more dependable friend you'll struggle to find.

You always tackle things just right.
Savain, full of questions every day,
You’ve kept my thinking on display!

Bouncing a ball better than anyone can.

Creativity seems to follow you everywhere.

Helping all around throughout the week.

Your artwork always shines right through.
Kaison, forever on the move,
Keeping us smiling with your own, unique groove.

A better friend you'll struggle to find.

And ducks will always remind me of you!
Shanukesh, smiling from morning till home,
Your happiness brightens every zone.

You keep us laughing all the while.

A happier friend you'll never find.
Eshan, determined to do your best,
Your focus puts you ahead of the rest.
NaYeon, artistic and a brilliant teammate,
Working together just comes naturally—great!
Zohaan, so quiet—and wonderfully tall,
You can probably reach the ceiling and all!

Your independence fills me with pride.

Your gentle nature will always shine through.
Miss May, with stunning nails, so kind and smiley too,
Your cheerful heart and friendly ways brighten all we do.
Ms Giles, a caring, enthusiastic multitasker, always full of fun,
You brighten every day for everyone, and somehow get everything done.
You've made us laugh,
You've made us smile,
You've made every single day worthwhile.
You've worked so hard,
You've come so far,
And every one of you is a shining star.
So spread your wings,
Be brave, aim high,
Remember this as you say goodbye:
Believe in yourselves,
Be kind wherever you roam,
And never forget...
You'll always have a place in our classroom,
And a place in our hearts called home.
