Year 6

Computing
This week in computing we have been learning about the role of Bletchley Park in the war and code breaking. In reading, we learnt all about the Enigma machine and how codes were written and broken. Using our logic and perseverance, we have cracked coded messages written in a Caesar cipher, pig pen cipher and acrostic codes. We have had a go at creating our own coded messages for our partners to solve.
Next week we will be:
-
Visiting the Imperial War Museum on Thursday,
-
Problem-solving in science,
-
Starting our new book, Letters From The Lighthouse in English
