We have been looking at what a recount is and which features are included in a good recount.  We looked at examples and investigated which features they each contained and then made our success criteria.

In our book, there is a chariot race written from the perspective of a scribe in the crowd. We used this information to plan and write a first draft of a recount but changed the perspective so we are writing it in first person - as if we were taking part in the race.  

Next week, we hope to edit and up level it and then write it up in our best handwriting.
