We are now into the full swing of Year 5 so thought I would provide a brief snapshot of what we have been doing this week across the curriculum. In Music, we have been learning to improvise to a piece of music by identifying the beat and clapping along. In Computing, we have been learning that not everything we see online is real and what we can do to check if information is valid. In Topic, we have been learning about the reformation and the reasons for King Henry VIII breaking away from the Catholic Church. In Science, we have been learning about the difference between melting and dissolving and which materials are soluble or insoluble. In Maths, we have been continuing our learning about place value by exploring tenths. In PE, we have been learning the skills needed to play netball. As you can see, we have been working very hard this week.
