In our Design technology (DT) learning this week, Year 1 have been finding out about different types of textiles and what their features are. We have also experimented with different methods of joining fabrics together-  namely, stapling, taping or glueing them. A few of us also had a first go at sewing. Some of us got a little over enthusiastic with the glue- but it's all part of the learning process!
