In our science work this week, Year 1 have been learning about the two main groups of trees. We have learned how deciduous trees drop their leaves in autumn and grow new leaves in the spring, while evergreen trees keep and replace their green leaves all year round. We have looked at the differences in their leaves and now most of us can confidently distinguish between them! Perhaps we can help you tell the difference next time you are out and about!
