Year 1 have hit the ground running after our half-term break. Our new class book for English is Pattan's Pumpkin- a traditional story from India. It tells the story of a farmer named Pattan, who grows pepper, nutmeg, rice and bananas on his farm by a river. To enliven the story, we have used our senses to help us re-tell the story with samples of all these crops.
