As part of our RE learning about the importance of Advent for Christians, our Year 1 classes visited St John's church this morning. As always, we were made very welcome and children learned a lot about the meaning of Advent. The children have also made Advent wreaths in class and are looking forward to showing them at home. They all represented our school very well and we are very proud of them. Also, we have sent a reminder home with the children's reading records for what we would like them to wear for our Christmas performance. Please check this as soon as possible!
