Since the start of Spring term, Year 1 have been enjoying the book Dear Earth by Isabel Otter. We have followed Tessa's journey in her imagination and marvelled at the different habitats she has visited, aided by the amazing illustrations in the book. We have used colourful semantics to help us build our own sentences about her journey and have written our own letters to the Earth. Finally, we have written our reviews of the book to highlight what we especially enjoyed. Who knows where our reading journey might take us next?
