It is odd sock day on Monday. Please encourage your child to wear odd socks to raise awareness for this good cause. 

In light of this, we are looking at a new text in English and Guided Reading. We will be reading 'The Shopping Basket' by John Burningham. 

This week we started our new history topic, to coincide with our trip to the Science Museum on the 20th of November. If you haven't yet given permission for your child to attend, please do so. It is a free trip and the children really enjoy it. Our topic was the history of aircraft and we will be looking at aviators next week. 

We looked at hot air balloons, the Dreamliner, the Wright Brothers plane and Concorde.
