This week in Year 2 we have enjoyed lots of exciting learning!

In English, we have begun reading our new story Jack and the Beanstalk. Through drama, the children explored the characters' feelings and acted out different parts of the story.

In maths, we have been learning about polygons, naming and comparing 2D shapes. 

In history, we learnt about Christopher Columbus. The children shared thoughtful opinions and decided he was not a very nice person.

Well done Year 2 for a great week!
