This week, the children finally got to assemble their 'Little Pig House' using all the cardboard you donated. Thank you to those of you who brought your recycling in for us. They used all the joins they had practised, flange, corrugation, tabs, slot, tape, glue and fold. They are very proud of their final designs. 

In English, we worked collaboratively to create a shared write. The children enjoyed using repetitive language to write about Father Christmas' journey back home to the North Pole.  This will help inform their independent writing next week when they write a diary entry explaining what happened when they went to delivery Harvey Slumfenburger's present. 

We have our Year 2 Christmas Journey Trip to the local church on Tuesday. Please make sure your child has a warm coat, gloves and a scarf. If you would like to volunteer to walk with us, just let one of us know.
