This week, to celebrate Valentine's Day during carpet time, we thought about someone who is special to us, and we made a special gift for them. The children printed handprints using red paint and we made a bunch of flowers using them to give to our special person. 

We also had great fun in the tunnels this week, crawling through and racing to see who would get to the end first. The children decided to play a game of peek-a-boo with each other and then outside we were very active learning how to hula-hoop. We have also been practising jumping and landing safely from one hoop to another. 

Our next book will be The Hungry Caterpillar. Over the course of the week, the tiny caterpillar munches his way through all sorts of delicious goodies.
