Pre School

Routines and exploring
This week we welcomed our new children into Pre-School. The children have settled in so well and have been learning the routines of the room. We have been sharing stories at circle time and learning lots of new nursery rhymes. The children have been exploring all areas of the room from the construction area, soft play area and creative area.
Outside, the children especially enjoyed the mud kitchen. The children have been engaged in pretend and messy play by cooking with the mud, sand and water. This activity will help the children to develop fine motor skills, roleplay, exploration and social skills.
Next week we will be reading Dear Zoo, which is a wonderful interactive story which allows children to predict what animal is in the crate.
