Pre School

Halloween Party

We have had another busy week in Pre School; we started our week by exploring pumpkins, the teacher cut a hole in the top and the children pulled out the pumpkin seeds and the pulp. We discovered that this was a very sticky and slimey part of the pumpkin and this holds all the seeds together.

Outside the children loved the wet weather, we put on our puddle suits and it was time to explore the puddles, the children jumped together and we decide to build a track using pipes and stands so that we could transport the water from one area of the playground to other, we even had ducks and fish floating across the playground.

We finished our week with a fantastic Halloween party and the children were very excited when they arrived to show off their costumes. Thank you to our families for providing the children with food and the wonderful costumes.

At the party the children took part in a number of activities, including water play with pumpkins, messy play, painting and some Halloween dancing, at the end we came together to share a picnic and a Halloween story.

Thank you all for your support this term and have a lovely half term break.
