The children have been enjoying the sunshine this week and have loved spending time in the water area. They have been learning to put on their waterproof clothing independently before playing, building their confidence and self-help skills. While in the water area, the children have been filling containers with water and transporting it down the obstacles they created, 

The children have been busy mark making this week using a variety of materials, including felt tips, chalk, and paints. This has supported their creativity and fine motor development, as they explored different textures, colours, and ways of expressing their ideas through marks and early writing.

Next week we will read a story called Cook It. This is a story about a little girl who helps to make dinner for her family.
