This week we have been learning about shapes and colours through a fun stamping activity and by looking for shapes in our environment. The children really enjoyed getting messy while creating pictures using paints and stamps. We encouraged the children to name the different shapes and identify the colours they could see. You can continue the learning at home by looking for shapes around your house or while you are out and about. Encourage your child to talk about the different shapes and colours they can see in everyday objects.

The children also took part in a fun activity making Rice Krispie cakes. They independently mixed the ingredients and carefully placed the mixture into cupcake holders, and they brought them home to share with you.
