Halloween Fun and Learning

This week, we have been learning all about Halloween and taking part in lots of fun activities to celebrate!

The children enjoyed carving pumpkins and adding tea lights inside to create a spooky Halloween glow. During the activity, they explored the pumpkin pulp, describing its texture and how it felt. We also learnt about pumpkin seeds and discussed how we could plant them and grow our own pumpkins for next year. We finished the activity by listening to a Halloween story together.

The following day, the children got creative by painting pumpkins using a variety of different colours. They also enjoyed making their own pumpkin cards, allowing them to express their creativity and develop their fine motor skills.

We ended our week with a fantastic Halloween party. The children had a wonderful time taking part in a range of Halloween activities, including making Halloween slime and enjoying pumpkin-themed activities. We also shared some delicious party food together, and we had fun making our own pizzas.

The children looked amazing, dressed up in their Halloween costumes. A big thank you to all the families who kindly donated food and helped make our celebration so special. We really appreciate your support!

We hope you all have a lovely, relaxing and restful half-term holiday. Enjoy your break!
