This week, we enjoyed reading Little Red Riding Hood together. The children were brilliant at joining in with the story and talking about what was happening. We talked about being kind, helping others, and how we stay safe, just like Little Red tried to help her grandma!

We also had a lot of fun playing "What's the Time, Mr Wolf?" The game tied in well with the story.

We explored the number 2 - counting in twos, finding pairs and even learning how to write it. We have also been practising writing our names, and we are so proud of how hard the children are working. Some of them have started writing their names all by themselves. 

Next week, through fun games and activities, we will be learning all about the number 3 and reading Jack and the Beanstalk.
