This week, the children enjoyed exploring the story Knuffle Bunny. We learnt new vocabulary from the book, including the word “Laundromat,” and talked about what happens there. We also discussed how we need to put coins into the washing machine to make it work, which sparked lots of curiosity and great questions from the children.

The children had lots of fun acting out the part where Trixie becomes “bubbly and boneless”. There were plenty of giggles as they wiggled and melted to the floor just like in the story!

We took a quiet moment to watch the snowflakes drifting past the nursery windows. The children were fascinated by how gently they fell and how differently each flake moved. It was a lovely, calm experience that encouraged wonder and conversation.

We have also started practising our Christmas songs for the upcoming festivities. Links to the songs will be shared below, so families can practise together at home. The children are already singing beautifully, and we look forward to sharing more about our Christmas preparations soon.
