This week, our new starters in Nursery have joined the class, and they have all done so well! The children are already settling into our routines and beginning to build lovely relationships with the staff and peers in the class.

We have been reading the book Toddle Woddle, focusing on the repeated lines and talking about what we notice in the illustrations. The children particularly enjoyed spotting all the different animals on the train! 

During our carpet sessions, we have been getting to know each other better by singing name songs, sharing our favourite colours and talking about how we travel to school. It has been wonderful to see the children becoming more confident as they get to know one another.

We would also like to ask all parents and carers to please post a family photo on Tapestry for our classroom display. If you would like any help with this, please speak to a member of staff at the door and we will be happy to help.
