The children have had a busy and exciting week of exploring and learning! While outside, the children have been developing their den-building skills, using different materials and pegs to create their own dens. This has encouraged the children to work together, use their imaginations and build on their communication skills. 

During our carpet input, we have been learning an autumn song and talking about the changes we can see in the weather and outdoors as we move into autumn. I will link the song and a video below so you can watch and discuss this with your child. 

Our story this week has been ‘One Ted Falls Out of Bed’. The children have enjoyed listening to the story, joining in with familiar parts and practising their counting skills from 1-10. We have been discussing our favourite parts of the story which lots of the children said was when the balloons go ‘bang, snap, pop’.
