Nursery

A Spooktacular Week!

We have had a lovely week in nursery exploring lots of spooky Halloween activities! The children have enjoyed taking part in a variety of fun, hands-on experiences and developing their learning through play.

This week, we have been reading the story 'Meg and Mog' and thinking about what ingredients we would put into our very own potions. The children have been using their imaginations and exploring some exciting new vocabulary, including spells, cauldrons and potions.

On Thursday, we had a fantastic Halloween party! The children loved exploring the pumpkins, making their own potions, splashing and playing in our jelly bath, and having lots of fun icing their own biscuits. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, exploring new textures and enjoying these special experiences together.

As we come to the end of our first half term, we would like to say a big thank you for all your support and generous donations. The children have had a fantastic start to their year in nursery, and we are so proud of how well they have settled in, explored their environment and begun to build relationships with their friends and adults.

We hope you all have a lovely, relaxing half-term holiday filled with fun and special moments together. Please remember to have a look on Tapestry, where you will find some fun holiday activities to enjoy with your little ones.

Wishing you all a wonderful half-term break!
