What a week in Reception! Thanks for all your support at sports day, the children really enjoyed it and I hope you all did as well. They worked really hard on it and put in some very good practice sessions. 

We are looking at What the Ladybird Heard in English this week ahead of our school visit where we hope to see some actual ladybirds. 

We are still working within 20 in maths looking at doubles and the beginnings of number bonds. 

Next week on Wednesday we are going to Holly Lodge. Thank you to all those who said they could volunteer their time and accompany us, we have enough volunteers for Wednesday. Can you make sure your children have a sun hat and a water bottle for the trip, it will be warm most likely! Lunches are provided by school if they are a school lunch, if your child is a packed lunch please provide one as usual.
