What a busy and fun week in Reception! Thank you for all your kind cash donations for our vegetable shopping at Aldi. Everyone did really well and were very safe and happy going around the shop and looking for our ingredients. We chopped them up together and cooked them in the slow cooker. The children really enjoyed smelling and tasting all the ingredients. 

Next week we will be learning about our Christmas story about going on a special baby hunt and practising our talkwrite, which helps the children know the story. They have really enjoyed making their own story maps, drawing pictures and writing words to explain what is happening. 

In maths we have been looking at groups of objects helping us to think about compostion, for example 3 is made of 2 and 1.
