What an exciting week in Reception! Thank you all so much for your support in helping your children practise and providing such wonderful costumes. The children have been so excited to show you their songs and performance, they have really enjoyed it. We are going to put a rehearsal we did on tapestry so you can enjoy it again!  

We have also been learning about the story The Elves and The Shoemaker, and teaching the children some new vocabulary. They have really enjoyed learning about "mythical" and designing their own mythical creatures. 

In maths we have been reviewing our learning for the past term and next week we will be looking at sizes and measuring. 

Next week is our last week of term and school will finish at 2pm and on that Friday we are going to have a little party to say thank you to the children for all their hard work this term. We will be putting up some post-it notes on the door outside our classrooms and if you can contribute please take one and bring the item into school.
