This week in Reception we had a lovely time learning together. In literacy, we have been reading the story The Lion Inside. The children enjoyed talking about the characters and learning that even small creatures can be brave and confident. We explored feelings, bravery and how being kind can help us make friends.

In maths, we have been learning about number bonds within 5. The children have been practising finding different ways to make numbers up to 5 using cubes, fingers and games. They are becoming more confident at recognising numbers and understanding how numbers can be made in different ways.

The children worked hard, shared ideas and had lots of fun learning through play. Have a lovely weekend and see you next week.
