This week in Year 3 we have been learning about fractions. We learnt about unit and non-unit fractions. A unit fraction is a single part of a whole e.g. 1/2, 1/4 or 1/5.  A non-unit fraction is more than one part of a whole e.g. 3/5, 5/8 or 6/10. Next week in maths, we will be looking at problem solving using fractions.
