As part of our DT unit, we have been learning to sew to create a fidget cushion. In our last lesson, we chose all the items we wanted on our cushion and this week we sewed on all the parts on. We had to make sure we had a 1cm seam allowance which our adult helpers helped us draw on. We did lots of the sewing ourselves and were very fortunate to have lots of help from our grown-ups.
