This week we have been applying our knowledge of counting in 10s to measuring. We learnt that 100cm is equal to 1 metre. This week we have been doing lots of practical measuring activities. We were given a piece of tape and in groups we had to use a ruler to make 10 centimetre increments until we got to 100. We also measured lots of different objects in the classroom using metre sticks.
