In Year 3 art, we explored different drawing techniques such as lines, tone and shading. We learnt how lines can be used to create shapes and details, while tone and shading help to make drawings look more realistic by showing light and dark areas. Using these skills, we created our own dragon sketches. We carefully used different types of lines for the dragon’s eye and added shading to give the dragon depth and texture.
