For our final forest school session, the children learnt how to build and safely put out a fire, while exploring the importance of the fire triangle and how a fire needs heat, fuel and oxygen to burn. They also had the opportunity to practise chopping wood safely and of course, enjoyed toasting marshmallows over the fire! It was wonderful to see the children working together, developing resilience and learning valuable outdoor skills in a safe and fun environment.
