Year 3 have been exploring parallel lines as part of our maths learning. To bring this concept to life, the children used strips of paper and split pins to create their own moving parallelograms. This hands-on activity helped us investigate the properties of quadrilaterals, identify pairs of parallel sides and see how the shape can change while still remaining a parallelogram. It was a fun and engaging way to develop our mathematical understanding through practical learning.
