This week, Year 4 have been exploring their creativity and problem-solving skills in both DT and science! In science, the children experimented with sound and design by making their very own noise-cancelling headphones, learning about how sound travels and how it can be blocked.

In DT, the class took on a real-world engineering challenge: designing earthquake-proof buildings! Using just sticks and gummy sweets, the children had to think carefully about stability, balance, and structure to see whose building could withstand the "shakes."

It’s been fantastic to see the children so engaged, using their hands, minds, and imaginations to bring their ideas to life!

While these lessons have now been completed. Next week, we are going to be focusing on our artistic skills and making some art throughout the week!
