Our art area is a way for children to express their emotions, use their senses and explore colours. While exploring our art this week, we have been doing individual artwork using crayons, felt tips and pencils. The children have been using language to explain their pictures and paintings of the marks they have made.

We had great fun working together to produce a class piece of artwork. We used cars dipped in paint to develop our gross motor skills by rolling the cars backwards and forwards across the paper. The children discovered that they could dip their hands into the paint to make handprints as well.
